About
Samuel has been a professional composer since 2015. His career has led him to work on projects of all genres (short films, feature films, fiction, documentaries, interactive installations, video games) and to collaborate with people, each more talented than the next.

Over time, he has learned to build sound worlds around the stories and characters he encounters and, above all, to shape the vision of the artists he works with into music. His music, often very enveloping and nuanced, is built from a poignant harmony mixed with timbres and textures elaborated from meticulously chosen sound sources.
He is active in the independent video game scene in Montreal. His work on Crew 167: The Grand Block odyssey (oddbreeze, 2020) led him to compose the music for several other games: Guild of Ascension (WhileOne production, 2021), Fish simulator: Agonik Lake (Les jeux Nemesis, 2023), as well as This bed we made (Lowbirth games, 2023) for which he earned a nomination for best audio and music at the Megamigs Awards 2022. His career has also led him to compose the music for several short films including Chimères (2021), Nos cendres (2021) and Narranext (2024) and several feature-length documentaries such as En attendant Raïf (2023) and Rain (2025) He recently composed the music for two series, La recette du bonheur (2025) and Mukbang (2025).
For several years, he has been teaching the profession of media composer and sharing his passion with students at Cégep de Drummondville, in addition to being a lecturer at the University of Sherbrooke and composing for various projects.
